Flores commits to San Diego Christian College
The Hartnell Softball team would like to announce that Megan Flores has committed to continue her academic and athletic career at San Diego Christian College.
The King City, CA native played volleyball in the fall and softball in the spring for the Panthers. She will play both sports at SDC.
As a freshman she played in 23 games. She had a .281 batting average, 57 at-bats, 16 hits, 12 runs, five doubles and seven RBI's. For the 2020 season she was leading the team in batting average through 18 games with .429 mark, 56 at-bats, 24 hits, eight runs, four doubles, a triple, and four RBI's. She was also leading the team in On-Base Percentage (OBP) .484, Slugging (SLG) .536 before the season was cut short.
In 2018 she was honored to the Hartnell College Dean's List for her academics. She will be pursuing a bachelor's degree in kinesiology focusing on athletic training.
