Shorthanded Panthers Play Tough

The Hartnell Women's Basketball team dropped their Coast Conference-South contest 70-35 to Gavilan on Friday night. The Panthers only played five girls through the contest while the team is dealing with some injuries. Isabelle Dorado scored 20 points on the night to lead the team. Emily Tinajero chipped in nine points and Priscilla Diaz added six. Elizabeth Escalera grabbed a team high 11 rebounds on the night. For the Rams three girls scored in double figures and found ways to break through the Panthers defense.
The Panthers (1-15, 0-2) will host their conference matchup next Wednesday January 15th as they welcome in Mission College. Game time is scheduled for 5 p.m.
