Bio

Kameo Aranda begins her 10th season on the Hartnell College Women’s Volleyball coaching staff.  Coach Kameo has been instrumental in helping the Panthers achieve new heights, assisting in all facets of the program.  Additionally, she has experience coaching for IMUA and South (Puget) Sound Volleyball Clubs.

Coach Kameo, a local product, prepped at North Salinas High School before transferring to Hartnell.  She played two years for Coach Pedroza, starting at setter for the 2010 and 2011 seasons.  After a stellar junior college career, Coach Kameo received a volleyball scholarship to The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington.  She played two seasons for the Geoducks, starring at setter and defensive specialist.  During her time at Evergreen, she also competed in track and field, setting a school record in the javelin.

Coach Kameo has an Associate of Arts from Hartnell College (2012) and Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from The Evergreen State College (2014). She recently completed her masters in Exercise Science at Liberty University (2020). In addition to coaching, she has began teaching kinesiology classes at Hartnell College.  She resides in Salinas, CA. with her husband Froy, and two son's Deluka and Royce.
