SAN FRANCISCO – Sophomore Maleah Evans recorded her second straight hat trick, fourth overall this season, to help lead No. 6 nationally-ranked City College of San Francisco to a 6-0 Coast Conference interdivision win over visiting Hartnell College on Friday.

The Rams extended their season-long winning streak to nine games and remain perfect in the Coast North Division standings at 5-0. CCSF is 11-2-2 overall.

The Rams had an easy time on Friday with Coast South Division-leading Hartnell (9-5-3, 4-1-1). With CCSF leading 2-0 after goals by Nare Avetian and Alexandra Arouxet Jara, Evans caught fire over a 13-minute stretch. She scored in the 35th, 43rd, and 48th minutes to extend the lead to 5-0.

Evans' 19 goals on the season currently rank tied for fourth-most in the state.

Leslie Murillo got in on the action with her goal in the 68th to close out the Rams' scoring. Murillo, Arouxet Jara, Iliana Sanchez, and Avetian all were credited with assists.

Elvira Motuapuaka totaled 7 saves for the well-earned shutout, the Rams' eighth of the season.

Evans' three goals on Tuesday powered another big win by the Rams as they cruised to a conference 6-1 victory at Evergreen Valley College.

Murillo added two goals and Arouxet Jara also scored to close out the rout. Sanchez had two assists.
