Cuesta Women's Basketball claimed its second victory of the season when hosting Hartnell, 62-45.  The Cougars took a one-point edge over the visiting Panthers, 12-11, in the first quarter and built into a three-point lead at halftime, 29-26.  After the intermission it was all Cuesta as they cruised to victory, 68-45.  2024 All-Western State Conference First Teamer Reese Pasternik led the way with a double-double by posting game-highs with 20 points and 11 rebounds.  The Cougars also received 14 points from Freshman Forward Kaylee Batten, while Pasternik tied with Point Guard Bella Musolff tied for the team lead with three assists.  The Cougars are 2-0 on the season.  

The Cougar Cagers continue their five-game homestand with two more games this week.  The Cougars host Sequoias on Thursday (6 PM) and Porterville on Saturday (POSTPONED).
