Bio

Norman will be in his first season of assisting at his alma mater. Norman was a decorated student-athlete for two years while at Hartnell College before matriculating to Fresno Pacific University. He is very excited to be a part of the program that helped him develop as an athlete and transfer with a degree. He will be assisting in the vertical jumps and multi-event. 

As an athlete at Hartnell College, Norman won the Coast Conference pole vault title with a clearance of 14'10" and placed third overall at the Northern CA Championship. He qualified to the state championship in the pole vault as a freshman. In his second year, Norman took on the challenge of the decathlon and placed fourth at the Norcal Championship earning him a trip to the CCCAA Championship. 

While at Fresno Pacific University, Norman improved his pole vault to 15'9" and lowered his 100 meter time to 10.9 and was the lead off for the Sunbirds 4x100 meter relay team (41.4). Norman graduadted from FPU in December 2019 with a B.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science. 

A graduate of North Salinas High School, Norman also assists with the new program at Rancho San Juan High School coaching the frosh/soph sprinters.
