Bio

Prior to Hartnell: Daniel ran all four year at Greenfield High School. As a sophomore, Daniel qualified the CIF State Championship placing 147th. He was the PCAL Champion as a sophomore and fifteenth at CCS. His junior year he finished tenth in the PCAL Championship and tenth at the CCS Championship.

"Daniel is a unique runner since much of his accomplishments from high school come with half a year of training each year. Daniel played on the Greenfield baseball team each spring showing his athleticsm. We're are going to bring him along slowly this fall since he was used to a lower volume of running and still enjoyed success. I'm seeing flashes of what could be a huge surprise to our conference by the end of the season."
