Women's Soccer travels to CCSF for First Round of Playoffs
The Women's Soccer team earned the #9 seed and will travel to play #8 City College of San Francisco on Saturday Nov. 23 in the First Round of the Northern California Playoffs. The Rams (11-6-3) finished second in the Coast Conference North, and will host a Panthers team that is hungry to advance onto the next round. The Panthers (10-5-7) finished second in the Coast Conference South Division. The two teams met back in October in San Francisco for their cross over match, and ended up with a tie 0-0.
Offensively the Panthers will look to Carly Lowi, Mayvene Molina, Julissa Quintanal to find the back of the net. The three have scored a combined 34 goals, and the team has 56 on the season. Lowi leads the team with 18.
The Panthers will have to stop an equally balanced offense. The Rams have scored 51 goals this season and have only given up 11 against.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 2 p.m.
