Edition 1: Weekly Panther Soccer Alumni Rundown
As we continue to wait for clearance to begin our 2020-2021 pre-season with our fellow student-athletes, teams around the country have been gearing up for their seasons to get going. We check in with former Panther Soccer players that have transferred to the next level and will play their scheduled soccer season this fall. We will kick off our weekly recap to see how their teams fared over the weekend.
Isaias Pio - Sr. - Dakota Wesleyan - Midfielder - Isiais enters his senior season as the returning Midfielder. Prior to his season kicking off he was named captain by his teammates. The Tigers are off to an 1-2 start. Pio has started all three games totalling seven shots and three shots on goal.
Jesus Parra - Sr. - Hastings College - Goalkeeper - Jesus enters his senior season as a returning starter with the most experience at the keeper position. The Broncos are off to a 4-0 start. Parra has started all four games with 10 saves and giving up three goals.
Alvaro Mercado - Jr. - University of Saint Mary - Midfielder - Alvaro's team has yet to kick off their season.
