Villegas Named 5CTCA Runner of the Week

Sophomomre Andrea Villegas was recognized by the California Community College Cross Country and Track Coaches Association (5CTCA) for her outstanding performance at the Fresno Invitational. Villegas finished first in 18:36 over the 5k (3.1 mile) layout at Woodward Park. The next closest competitor was 34 seconds behind. She was also over one minute ahead of the next Northern California competitor. 

The 5CTCA is recognizing outstanding performances from both regions each week culminating in this year's 3C2A State Cross Country Championship on November 18, 2023 at Woodward Park, Fresno.
