The Gladiators were hot from the plate in an 18-12 win over visiting Hartnell on Feb. 27. Catcher Sam Gilliam had a big day going 4 for 4 with two doubles, four RBIs and five runs scored. Right fielder Gerald Nervis also raked from the plate with three hits, including a double, four runs scored and three RBIs. Logan Mendoza also had a monster game with a double among three hits and six RBIs.
The Gladiators scored in bunches, collecting at least three runs in the first, fourth, fifth and eighth innings.
