Football Alumni Fall Recap
Davon Ferguson - Jr. - Safety - University of Kansas - The starting safety has seen action in four of their seven contests this fall. Ferguson sits fourth on the team in total tackles with 27. The Jayhawks have three games left on their Big12 schedule. They still face TCU, Texas Tech and Texas.
Santo DeFranco - Jr. Offensive Lineman - Mercer University - The Bears played three contests this fall before closing its doors on their fall schedule. DeFranco started all three games at right tackle. The Bears are scheduled to take on Wofford College to open up Southern Conference action on February 20th.
Isaiah Randalle - Jr. - Quarterback - Kansas Wesleyan University - The Coyotes finish their fall schedule ranked #6 in the latest NAIA with a 5-2 overall record. Randalle split QB duties for the first few games before taking over as the starter. He completed 114 of 173 passes for 1,917 yards, 15 touchdowns and only three interceptions. He also rushed for two more touchdowns giving him 17 total. Passing yards and TD's both led the league. He averaged 273.9 passing yards per game, also led the league. He was voted Player of the Week twice by the Kansas Collegiate Athletics Conference. The Coyotes will resume their season in spring of 2021.
Juan Herrera - Sr. - Kicker/Punter - Kansas Wesleyan University - Herrera was the starting kicker for the Coyotes this fall. With the high scoring offense Randalle and the rest of the offense was putting together, Herrera was left with minimal action. In seven games he punted a total of 15 times for 499 total yards, averaging 33.3 per punt. The Coyotes will resume their season in spring of 2021.
