    Assistant Coach

Bio

Coach Enea graduated from San Francisco State College in 1962 and immediately began his coaching career taking over the Riordan High School Swim program in 1963.  He then moved out to coach the Ceres High School program in 1964. In 1968 he returned home to Salinas and was the coach of Alisal High School from 1968-1975. In 1976 Coach Enea became the head coach for the Saudi Arabian National team and coached them through competition in the Pan-Arabian games in Damascus. He coached the Saudi team through the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal Canada. If you look at the Hartnell Record Boards for the Men's and Women's Coach Bob has coached nearly the entire list for both, and is a regular at the Hartnell Hall of Fame ceremonies as his former swimmers are consistently inducted. This includes our own Coach Campbell! Coach Bob brought that legacy to the relaunch of the Hartnell program in 2020. He is a local legend!
