Bio

2015-2016 Eduardo started the season off in excellent form placing twelfth at the Fresno Invitational and third overall at the Lou Vasquez Invitational in a fine 20:58. A mid-season illness slowed him down but he did return to place top 50 at the CCCAA Championship and help the Panthers to a fifth place state finish. An all-conference honoree he missed the Northern California Championship as a freshman.

On the track, Eduardo ran a solid 1:56.63 at 800 meters to win at the Sequoias Relays. A Northern California qualifier in three events, a late season illness prevented him from performing his best in the championship meets.

Prior to Hartnell: Eduardo comes to Hartnell from King City High School where he progressed steadily into one of the best Division IV runners in the state. His junior and senior years he placed 7th and 4th overall at the CCS Championship and in his final year placed 22nd at the State Championship.

"Bad timing was the theme of Walo's freshman year with two illnesses hitting him just as he was hitting his stride. We'll look to keep him healthy in preparation for the championship meets and if he does he will be a force to be reckoned with."
