Freshman Year: Christian was the lone freshman to earn All-Coast Conference honors in cross country placing 14th overall. In spring, Christian qualified to the Northern California Championship in three events the 3k steeplechase, 5000, and 10,000 meters. He finished his first year with the Panthers with personal bests of 4:12, 9:17, 15:56, and 34:00.

Prior to Hartnell: Christian comes to Hartnell from North Salinas High School where he guided the Vikings to a Salinas City Championship and the Monterey Bay League title. He was 2nd overall at the city championship in Toro Park personal best 16:44. He also placed third overall at the MBL Championship. Christian has solid track times of 4:32 and 10:07 and qualified to the CCS Semi-Finals in the 1600 meters as a senior.

"Christian begins his second year determined to make a difference to show he learned the most by being our highest placing freshman at the conference meet. He has the tools and passion to be an All-Region runner. Consistency of performance will be the key to developing the skill needed for the championship season."
