Bio

Freshman Year: Gained valuable four mile racing experience as a freshman posting a lifetime best 22:20 at the Lou Vasquez Invitational. In Spring, Adam qualified to ther Northern California Championship final in the 800 meters where he posted a lifetime best 1:57.40. Adam finished his first year with the Panthers with personal bests at 1500 meters of 4:07 and 5000m of 16:33.

Prior to Hartnell: Adam is another of our first Monterey High School athletes joining fellow Toreadore Alec Beltran on the roster. With only two years of cross country experience, Adam did break 18:00 at Toro Park. He was a top 25 finisher at the Monterey Bay League Championship as a senior. On the track, he showed good speed running a lifetime personal best 2:03 at the MBL Masters meet.

"Adam had made significant jumps in fitness his first fall learning to run four miles better than he did the high school distance. That improvement translated into monster personal bests in the spring in the 800 and 1500 meters. If he can continue to build off each season, he will continue to not only improve dramatically but also surprise other competitors."
