Prior to Hartnell: Chris attend Alvarez High School but did not compete in cross country. This will be his first season with the Panthers.

"Chris is a late addition to the squad joining just at the end of summer. He has quickly assimilated into our team culture but will have to take his time with training given his lack of background in endurance training."
