Bio

Prior to Hartnell: Maria ran four years of cross country at Greenfield High School. Her senior year she blossomed leading the Lady Bruins with her fifth place overall finish at the MTAL Championship. Maria earned multiple years of post-league experience competing in three CCS Championships.

"I was very impressed with the marked improvement Maria showed as a senior. She lead the Lady Bruins by a significant margin demonstrating the quality of her training effort. I'm excited to see what she does with having our women to work with daily and what kind of chemistry she can develop with our other freshmen women. Maria didn't run track each spring as she went into basketball but I'm hoping bridging the falls with more running will really help her next fall."
