Bio

Prior to Hartnell: Daniela graduated from Watsonville High School where she participated in cross country all four years. Her senior season put her on the map as she placed third overall at the MBL Championship and tenth at the CCS Championship earning a berth to the CIF State Meet. She consistently ran 3 mile races under 20:00 all season as a senior and capped her career with a 19:41 mark at Woodward Park.

"Daniella comes into Hartnell College with some amazing credentials that were built from four years of hard work at Watsonville. Her senior fall was oustanding as she made a jump into the upper echelon of local cross country running. Daniela's time at Woodward Park would have placed her in the top 50 at our state meet so I'm excited to see how far up we can get her in her first season as a Lady Panther. Her track times are off the charts and a solid fall could set her up for some amazing accomplishments in track. Daniela will compliment our returners Monica and Arlene and give us a formidable front three against any team in the state."
