Bio
Prior to Hartnell: Alondra competed for Salinas High School for three years in cross country. As a junior, she was the Monterey Bay League JV champion at Toro Park. She was a two year competitor at the CCS Championship placing 59th as a senior in a Toro Park best 21:19.
"I always get excited about working with a former Salinas HS Cowboy. They come in having practiced high economy running and with our added volume of training, they tend to be big surprises. I am expecting the same from Alondra especially after watching her compete in her final track season. All spring she challenged herself to compete with the area's best and it really accelerated her development as a runner. She was also a very vocal supportive teammate and we will need that this fall."
