Bio

Prior to Hartnell: Johnny competed all four years for the North Salinas Vikings. He enjoyed his best season as senior posting a lifetime bestt 17:38 at Toro Park. He also qualified to the CCS Championship as a senior. Johnny also has experience at Woodward Park having competed at the Rough Rider Invitational his junior year. On the track, Johnny competed in the PCAL Gabilan Championship where he posted a lifetime best 3200 meters. 

"Johnny has the tools to become one of our best but it may take some time. He will need to focus on getting stronger this year and logging the miles. If he can stay healthy, he should content for an all-conference selection this fall and qualify for the regional track championship. Johnny has shown tremendous heart this summer taking on some challenging runs with our top guys. I'm excited to see what this fall brings him."
