Bio

Prior to Hartnell: Tanya competed for Greenfield High School all four years but enjoyed breakout seasons her junior and senior years. Both seasons she placed top 10 in the Mission Trail Athletic League Championship. Her sophomore season, she was a member of the first ever state qualifying team for Greenfield High School. She brings to Hartnell College solid personals best of 20:43 at Toro Park, 20:50 at Crystal Springs, and 21:01 at Woodward Park.

"I think Tanya is one of the most underdeveloped hidden gems in our county. She's run some very good times with limited training time and very little track exposure. She's got a great stride and tough mental attitude. I believe she will become one of our most successful cross country runners before she's done at Hartnell."
