Freshman Year: Alessandra finished sixteenth in her first Conference Championship. Alessandra missed several meets due to injury but performed better at Toro Park than she did in high school.

Prior to Hartnell: Competed in cross country for two years at Seaside High School. Made huge improvements as a senior lowering her three mile best to 22:48. On the track she has a personal best of 13:47 for 3200m.

"Alessandra is a hard worker but we've learned that she must take her time in training to get the improvements she's looking for. We've had to miss some cross country races last fall and was forced to redshirt track due to injuries. Alessandra has decided to dedicate a year to consistent training and be ready for her sophomore season in fall 2019. Not many athletes would make that sacrifice but I feel we have a better idea of what it will take for her to reach her community college potential. She will be an instrumental part of next fall's team looking to maintain or build on the success of this year's"
